A very hot dryer
If you notice that your dryer is warmer than it should be or the air in your laundry room heats up every time you run your dryer this is another sign your vent is not operating correctly. Most dryers should not be operating at a temperature much above 150 degrees, an improperly vented dryer can reach far above this range increasing wear and fire danger.

At the start of each job we perform industry standard inspections with the use of a camera and an air flow meter. The before and after results will be documented in the evaluation you receive. After inspection our techs will go over the results with you and explain any recommended actions. As always we are not here to push you in to in to services you don't need or want.
DRYER DUCT REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT
Often dryer ducts are installed against code or are damaged over the course of it's lifetime. Range of Light Services can remedy these issues safely and economically. Whether a simple repair or a full rerouting is required we are here to help.
VENT TERMINATION REPAIR AND INSTALLATION
The vent termination, or where your dryer vent exits the house is one of the most important parts of the system. Terminations are where the majority of clogs form. If a termination is not up to code it can present the biggest danger to the system. We are equipped to repair or replace terminations and covers with the best tools in the industry. Range of Light Services can install new vent outlets or add bird and pest guards to existing terminations to make sure your system keeps flowing.
DRYER CLEANING
Cleaning out the inside of your dryer is one of the most important and most overlooked aspects of a safe dryer vent system. Most fires start inside the dryer on the heating element. While a properly working dryer shouldn't be exhausting lint in to the dryer cavity when there is an issue in the system this could cause lint to build up in the dryer which can be extremely dangerous. This is an extra step that most of our competitors don't offer but a crucial part of keeping your home safe. Note that not all dryers will require this cleaning which is why we offer it as an add on service, we would never charge for a service you don't need!
BATHROOM AND KITCHEN EXHAUST CLEANING
